NHL: APR 12 Maple Leafs at Senators

Shots from my last game in Ottawa this season. I’ve be fortunate enough to be shooting with some of the best in the game and this marks my 5th season with over a 150 NHL games under my belt.I’m no Bruce Bennett, but it’s a start. I wanted to say thank you for all the nice e-mails and comments from anyone who’s taken the time out of their day to check out my blog. I spent a little extra time at the rink last night, soaking it in, not wanting to leave. Id work 3 jobs, sleep never, if it means I’m lucky enough to spend 60 minutes at the glass. Hope to be covering some other sports this summer and bothering teams for work.

My daughter having sent a small army of stuffed animals in hopes of a Senators home win, brought out the big guns on Saturday. The Wild Thing had the best seat in the house and despite a good effort and a point, he wasn’t able to pull out the W. At least on Sunday morning when she asks “if he’s a winner daddy”. I won’t have to tell her this one’s a complete loser too.
